2012 M98

The 2012 "M98"

This was the very first softball bat created by Carl Pegnatori, owner and engineer of Monsta Athletics. In a garage in Yucaipa, CA, the M98 was made to be the hottest slowpitch bat on the market.

However, when sent for certification, the bat failed because it was too hot. This bat never made it to market, and instead paved the way for Monsta's next USA/ASA product, the M121.
